The airline has issued an advisory to passengers
Dubai-based airline Emirates has issued a travel advisory for passengers flying internationally, urging travellers to check the latest entry requirements before departure as several countries introduce Ebola-related travel measures.
In an update published on May 28, the airline said that a number of destinations have implemented travel restrictions and enhanced health screening procedures in response to the Ebola virus.
The measures vary from country to country and may include additional screening on arrival, health declarations, or other entry requirements for travellers arriving from affected regions.
Emirates is advising customers to verify the latest regulations through official government channels before travelling, as requirements can change with little notice.

The airline said: “Several countries have implemented travel entry restrictions and/or enhanced screening measures due to the Ebola virus. We advise customers to check the entry requirements of their destination country via official government channels.”
The warning comes after the World Health Organisation declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) a Public Health Emergency of International Concern earlier this month, with a high risk of the disease spreading to neighbouring countries.
Passengers travelling in the coming weeks are encouraged to review destination-specific guidance regarding the Ebola outbreak before heading to the airport to avoid potential delays or disruptions to their journey.
For the latest travel information, travellers should consult the relevant authorities in their destination country before departure.
