Visit Cherry House, a stunning new homegrown café
Less than a month after opening, Cherry House has already become one of the city’s most talked-about café launches. Created by Emirati entrepreneur Mohamed Matar Al Koas Al Falasi, the founder behind Saddle and Feels, the concept puts coffee at the centre of the experience. Named after the fruit that coffee beans come from, the space is home to the UAE’s first overhead bean transport system, where freshly roasted beans travel through transparent pipes above guests’ heads. Equal parts coffee house and conversation starter, it’s well worth adding to your list this month.

Go for an evening walk at Central Park Dubai
Summer is here, and while the hottest part of the day is best spent indoors, there are still the occasional evenings that are perfect for getting outside. If you’re in the mood for a walk, make your way to Central Park Dubai, a huge new green space in Jebel Ali’s Wasl Gate community. Spanning more than 82,700 square metres, the park is open to everyone and features walking and cycling tracks, basketball courts, a skate park, open lawns and food trucks. It’s also easily accessible via Energy Metro Station, making it a great option for a low-key evening out.

Ramen fans will want this one on their radar. Newly opened in JLT’s Cluster Y, Shiogensui brings a taste of Osaka’s ramen culture to Dubai, with a menu centred around slow-cooked broths and traditional recipes. The signature shio ramen is the dish to order, made from scratch with careful attention to every detail. It’s a simple, focused concept that’s already generating plenty of word of mouth, and if you’re visiting, add the chicken karaage to your order while you’re at it.

One of Paris’s best-known piano bar concepts has officially arrived in Dubai. The Bvlgari Resort has officially opened Serpenti Beach Club at La Spiaggia on Jumeira Bay Island, giving non-guests access to the luxury retreat for the first time. For the first time in the Middle East, Aimé Leon Dore has taken up residence at Ounass Stage, a new immersive retail concept at Huna Living.
