In what might be one of the most surprising collaborations of the year so far, Audemars Piguet and Swatch are teaming up for a limited edition Royal Pop Collection. The series of eight rainbow-hued pocket watches will drop on Saturday, May 16, and we’ve got good news for fans in Dubai: there are two locations to get your hands on them.
The Bioceramic Royal Pop Collection will be available at Swatch stores in both Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, although prepare to queue – this is a collaboration that’s set for seriously high demand. Do note, purchases are limited to one watch per person, per day, and per store.

How much is the AP X Swatch Royal Pop pocket watch?
In the UAE, the Royal Pop pocket watch will be priced from Dhs1,530 to Dhs1,640, depending on the colour you get.
What makes the Audemars Piguet & Swatch Royal Pop watch so special?
Well, because according to Swatch, it brings together the best bits of both brands. The avant-garde design of Audemars Piguet’s statement-making Royal Oak joins forces with Swatch’s modular 1980s POP line, resulting in this creative collection of 8 retro pocket watches.
Each watch will feature a new hand-wound SISTEM51 movement, a Swiss-made Swatch signature, and can be paired with three interchangeable lanyard lengths, available in all colours. The lanyards are sold separately, priced at Dhs190 each
Plus, to give you even more flexibility to style it your way, each model comes in one of two unique styles: Lépine or Savonnette.
