RE:SET brings music, comedy, storytelling and surprise performances together for one night only at Dubai Opera
Dubai is no stranger to big events, but RE:SET is doing things a little differently. Landing at Dubai Opera on Friday June 6, the one-night-only live experience brings together some of the region’s most recognisable names across music, comedy, digital culture and storytelling for a night that keeps the energy going from start to finish.
What is RE:SET?
Think of RE:SET as a live mixtape of Dubai’s creative scene. Across the evening, 13 performers, comedians, musicians, content creators and personalities will take to the stage, each bringing something different to the programme. The result is a fast-moving experience that reflects the energy, creativity and diversity of the city itself. The show will be presented in both English and Arabic.
Who’s on the line-up?
- Elie Iskandar: Guiding the audience through the evening as the voice of RE:SET.
- Michel Fadel: Opening the night with a musical tribute to the UAE.
- Amro Maskoun: Bringing his much-loved characters to the stage throughout the show.
- Noel Kharman: Performing her signature blend of music and vocals.
- Bin Swelah: Adding local humour and an Emirati perspective to the programme.
- Dima Mousseli: Taking her digital sketches from screen to stage.
- Ghaliaa: Delivering a live music performance with her soulful vocals.
- Special guest appearance: A surprise moment before the comedy headline act.
- Shawn Chidiac: Taking the stage for the night’s stand-up comedy performance.
- Anand Raman, Denise Alexe and Sundeep Fernandes: Joining forces for an unexpected live comedy sketch.
- Akhras: Closing the main programme with a live performance of his signature sound.
- Eliza: Taking over the after-party with a late-night DJ set at The Carnival Room.

The experience doesn’t end with the show
Doors open at 6pm, giving guests time to enjoy the pre-show social space with food, drinks and music before the main programme begins at 7pm. Following the final performance, the evening continues with an after-party at The Carnival Room, where DJ Eliza takes over for a late-night closing set.
Why RE:SET is worth adding to your calendar
What makes RE:SET different is its format. Rather than separating music, comedy and performance into individual segments, the evening moves fluidly between genres, creating a shared experience that evolves throughout the night. For anyone looking for something beyond the usual concert, comedy night or theatre performance, this is one of the most interesting live events landing in Dubai this month.
