Emirates Park Zoo brings back Rain in the Zoo for Eid Al Adha

Emirates Park Zoo is bringing back its popular Rain in the Zoo experience just in time for the Eid Al Adha break

If your Eid Al Adha plans involve keeping the kids entertained without melting in the heat, Emirates Park Zoo & Resort may have just saved the long weekend. The popular Abu Dhabi attraction is bringing back its “Rain in the Zoo” experience this Eid Al Adha, turning parts of the park into a splashy, family-friendly escape packed with cooling rain moments, water slides and live entertainment. The seasonal activation runs from June 7 to 9 and tickets start from Dhs85.

The idea is simple. Families walk through interactive rain zones, kids cool off under misty water features, and everyone gets a break from the summer temperatures without leaving the city. There are also themed performances, animal encounters and educational activities woven into the experience, so it is not just about getting soaked.

One of the highlights is the dedicated splash area for children, complete with water slides and supervised play zones. Visitors can also join trivia competitions to win prizes while exploring the zoo’s collection of animals and attractions.

For younger kids especially, it ticks the right boxes. Animals, water play and enough activities to burn through holiday energy before bedtime.

The event takes place across Emirates Park Zoo & Resort in Al Bahyah, which has become a popular spot for families looking for easy day trips in Abu Dhabi. Alongside the seasonal entertainment, guests can still explore the zoo’s usual experiences, from feeding giraffes to seeing big cats and reptiles up close.

And honestly, during a UAE summer, any outing that combines air-conditioned breaks, water fun and tired happy children feels like a win.

Tickets are available now, with the special Eid offer running until May 31.
