It was a very hyped moment for the Audemars Piguet x Swatch collaboration, almost too hyped. As thousands of people queued in both malls for the anticipated sale, Swatch UAE announced that they would be cancelling the sale.
Why was it cancelled?
We don’t exactly know for sure, however Swatch UAE announced the cancellation on their instagram and said the following: “In view of public safety considerations, we have decided not to proceed with the sale of the product at Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates, and the event has been cancelled.We appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
So where can I get one now?
It is speculated that there will be an online pre-registration link or silent drop in store. However nothing has been confirmed for the Audemars Piguet x Swatch collaboration.
